Considering the significance of non-Newtonian fluid usage in manufacturing such as molten plastics, polymeric materials, pulps, and so on, significant efforts have been made to investigate the phenomenon of non-Newtonian fluids. In this article the influences of heat and mass transfer on non-Newtonian Walter's B fluid flow over uppermost catalytic surface of a paraboloid is encountered. An elasticity of the fluid layer is considered in the freestream together with heat source/sink and has the tendency to cause heat flow in the fluid saturated domain. The flow problem of two-dimensional Walter's B fluid is represented using Law of conservation of mass, momentum, heat, and concentration along with thermal and solutal chemical reactive boundary conditions. The governing equations are non-linear partial differential equation and are non-dimensionalized by employing stream function and similarity transformation. The final dimensionless equations yielded are coupled non-linear ordinary differential equations. Furthermore, shooting technique along with RK-4th order method is used to get the numerical results. Graphs and tables are modeled by using MATLAB software to check the effects of Walter's B parameter, Chemical reaction parameter and Thickness parameter on temperature, velocity, and concentration profiles. Tabular analysis shows the results of some physical parameters like skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number due to the variation of Walter's B parameter, thickness parameter and chemical reactive parameter.  相似文献

对于合成化学家来说,通过合成策略调控单离子磁体的磁动力学是一项艰巨的任务。我们以三(2-羟基亚苄基)三氨基胍配体(L)合成了2例单核Dy(Ⅲ)配合物[Dy(L)2(H2O)2]ClO4·2H2O·2CH3CN·CH3OH(1)和[Dy(L)2(H2O)2]CF3SO3·4H2O·2CH3OH(2)。对其结构和磁性研究表明,不同的抗衡阴离子对于配合物12的动态磁行为有显著影响。2个配合物中,Dy(Ⅲ)中心都具有三角形十二面体D2d对称性,在零直流场下表现出单离子磁体的行为,其有效能垒分别为358 K(1)和309 K(2)。结构参数对比表明轴向位置的键长和键角微小变化对轴向配体场产生了显著的影响,而轴向配体场的微小变化导致了2个配合物交流磁性的差异。  相似文献

Kinetics of D-mannose oxidation by cerium (IV) was studied in a sulfuric acid medium at 40℃ both in absence and presence of ionic micelles. In both cases, the rate of the reaction was first-order in D-mannose and in cerium(Ⅳ), which decreased with increasing [H2SO4]. This suggested that the redox reaction followed the same mechanism. The reaction proceeded through formation of an intermediate complex, which was proved by kinetic method. The complex underwent slow unimolecular decomposition to a free radical that reacted with cerium (Ⅳ) to afford the product. The catalytic role of cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) micelles was best explained by the Menger-Portnoy model. The study of the effect of CTAB also indicated that a negatively charged species was reactive form of cerium (Ⅳ). From the kinetic data, micelle-cerium (Ⅳ) binding and rate constants in micellar medium were evaluated.The anionic micelle of sodium dodecyl sulfate plays no catalytic role. The oxidation has the rate expression: --d[Ce(Ⅳ)]= k1Kcl[D-mannose] [Ce(Ⅳ)]dt Different activation parameters for micelle catalyzed and uncatalyzed paths were also calculated and discussed.  相似文献

A right module $M$ over an associative ring $R$ with unity is a $QTAG$-module if every finitely generated submodule of any homomorphic image of $M$ is a direct sum of uniserial modules. This article considers the closure of $h$-pure-$S$-high submodules of $QTAG$-modules. Here, we determine all submodules $S$ of a $QTAG$-module $M$ such that each closure of $h$-pure-$S$-high submodule of $M$ is $h$-pure-$\overline{S}$-high in $\overline{M}$. A few results of this theme give a comparison of some elementary properties of $h$-pure-$S$-high and $S$-high submodules.  相似文献

The densities (ρ), viscosities (η), refractive indices (nD), and speeds of sound (u), of binary mixtures of pyridine with 1-hexanol, 1-heptanol, 1-octanol and 1-decanol, including those of pure liquids, were measured over the entire composition range at 303.15 K and atmospheric pressure. From these experimental data, the values of excess molar volumes (VE), deviations in isentropic compressibilities (Δks), viscosities (Δh), molar refractions (ΔRm), apparent and partial molar volumes (Vf,2 and ), apparent and partial molar compressibilities (Kf,2 and ), of alkanols in pyridine and their corresponding deviations (ΔV and ΔK) were calculated. The variations of these parameters with composition of the mixtures suggest that the strength of interactions in these mixtures follow the order: 1-hexanol>1-heptanol>1-octanol>1-decanol. All the excess and deviation functions were fitted to Redlich-Kister polynomial equation to determine the fitting coefficients and the standard deviations.  相似文献

The affect of sulphur on the structural properties of iron sodium diborate glasses having the composition {(100−x)Na2B4O7+xFe2O3}+yS, where x=0.05, 0.15 and 0.25 mol% and Y=0, 2.5 and 5 wt% was studied by infrared, Mossbauer spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements. It was found that, for samples having 5 mol% Fe2O3 and free from sulphur, the iron ions are present in both Fe2+ and Fe3+ states and also 92% of the total iron enters the glass network as a glass former. The ratio of Fe3+/Fe2+ increases with increasing the iron content for sulphur-free samples and others containing sulphur. This ratio also decreases with increasing the sulphur content. The magnetic susceptibility was found to decrease with increasing the sulphur content. Also, the increase of Fe2O3 content led to a less symmetrical environment of Fe3+ ions and vice versa for the Fe2+ environment.  相似文献

Brans–Dicke scalar–tensor theory provides a conformal coupling of the scalar field with gravity in Einstein’s frame. This model is equivalent to an interacting quintessence in which dark matter is coupled to dark energy. This provides a natural mechanism to alleviate the coincidence problem. We investigate the dynamics of this model and show that it leads to comparable dark energy and dark matter densities today.  相似文献

Spintronics has received a great attention and significant interest within the past decades,and provided considerable and remarked applications in industry and electronic information etc.In spintronics,the MgO based magnetic tunnel junction(MTJ) is an important research advancement because of its physical properties and excellent performance,such as the high TMR ratio in MgO based MTJs.We present an overview of more than a decade development in MgO based MTJs.The review contains three main sections.(1) Research of several types of MgO based MTJs,including single-crystal MgO barrier based-MTJs,double barrier MTJs,MgO based MTJs with interlayer,novel electrode material MTJs based on MgO,novel barrier based MTJs,novel barrier MTJs based on MgO,and perpendicular MTJs.(2) Some typical physical effects in MgO based MTJs,which include six observed physical effects in MgO based MTJs,namely spin transfer torque(STT) effect,Coulomb blockade magnetoresistance(CBMR) effect,oscillatory magnetoresistance,quantum-well resonance tunneling effect,electric field assisted magnetization switching effect,and spincaloric effect.(3) In the last section,a brief introduction of some important device applications of MgO based MTJs,such as GMR & TMR read heads and magneto-sensitive sensors,both field and current switching MRAM,spin nano oscillators,and spin logic devices,have been provided.  相似文献

Binary 3-point scheme, developed by Hormann and Sabin [Hormann, K. and Sabin, Malcolm A., 2008, A family of subdivision schemes with cubic precision, Computer Aided Geometric Design, 25, 41-52], has been modified by introducing a tension parameter which generates a family of C1 limiting curves for certain range of tension parameter. Ternary 3-point scheme, introduced by Siddiqi and Rehan [Siddiqi, Shahid S. and Rehan, K., 2009, A ternary three point scheme for curve designing, International Journal of Computer Mathematics, In Press, DOI: 10.1080/00207160802428220], has also been modified by introducing a tension parameter which generates family of C1 and C2 limiting curves for certain range of tension parameter. Laurent polynomial method is used to investigate the continuity of the subdivision schemes. The performance of modified schemes has been demonstrated by considering different examples along with its comparison with the established subdivision schemes.  相似文献
